Delete your Vequo account
You can delete your device-linked Vequo account in the app or request help by email.
Delete it in the app
- Open Profile.
- Under ACCOUNT, choose Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm permanent deletion.
This durably removes the live Vequo account and credit ledger and forfeits any remaining credits. Once the server confirms that account deletion is committed, the app clears its local Vequo design metadata and immediately attempts to delete all files in Vequo's managed private image storage. This local cleanup also runs when RevenueCat provider cleanup remains pending. A private worker then finishes terminal edit-object cleanup, deletes the associated Firebase Authentication user, and deletes and rechecks the old and retired RevenueCat customers. Vequo first requires any generating edit, billing event, purchase intent, or restore guard to settle.
Cannot access the app?
Email us from an address associated with your request and include any Vequo account or device information you still have. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before completing deletion.
A server or email deletion request cannot reach private files on an offline device or a device where Vequo is no longer installed. If you still have access to Vequo, delete the account in the app first so it can clear the local design library and managed image files. Otherwise, clear Vequo's app data or uninstall the app on each device where it was used, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour.
Do not send passwords, Apple or Google credentials, store receipts containing unnecessary personal information, identity documents, or design images unless we specifically need limited information to verify the request.
What account deletion removes
- your Vequo account and credit ledger;
- terminal Vequo edit objects and manifests in cloud storage;
- the associated Firebase Authentication user;
- the old and temporary retired RevenueCat customers after isolated provider deletion is verified;
- unused Vequo credits and the live account-to-billing reverse mapping; and
- when deletion is completed in the app, local Vequo design metadata and managed private image files after the server commits account deletion.
Provider deletion can remain pending or enter manual review when shared, anonymous, cross-environment, unknown, or otherwise ambiguous RevenueCat aliases make automatic whole-customer deletion unsafe. Vequo keeps purchases and restores disabled on the device until provider deletion is confirmed. Contact support if the app reports that deletion requires manual review.
What it does not do
- cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription;
- guarantee immediate RevenueCat erasure while monitored cleanup is pending or under manual review, or prevent a later store restore or purchase from recreating provider data;
- allow a server or email deletion request to reach private files on an offline or uninstalled device;
- erase transaction, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, or legal records that Vequo, Apple, Google, or another provider must retain;
- reset the limited device state used to prevent repeated promotional grants; or
- reset Vequo's retained pseudonymous HMAC-keyed billing records or deleted billing account state. These contain limited product, credit/refund, timing, billing account ID hash, subscription credit schedule, nonnegative debt and authenticated-successor metadata, but no raw Vequo account ID, Firebase UID, RevenueCat App User ID, or raw store/RevenueCat transaction ID. They remain for the life of the Service so value cannot be granted twice and a verified refund or reversal is applied once.
Deletion removes the live ledger but retains any nonnegative debt in that pseudonymous deleted billing account state. A live source keeps its historical credits and debt; only deleted-account debt may follow a successor authenticated by RevenueCat and the stores. Vequo does not transfer all balances between accounts.
Vequo also retains compact HMAC-keyed deletion-status and anti-recreation receipts with no raw Vequo account ID, Firebase UID, or RevenueCat App User ID after cleanup. A protected local deletion marker can temporarily contain the old account ID, Firebase UID, retired RevenueCat ID, and phase while recovery is unresolved; Apple Keychain or device backup behaviour may preserve it across reinstall.
Manage your subscription separately
Deleting your account or uninstalling Vequo does not cancel a subscription. Manage or cancel it directly through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions.
Remove designs stored on your device
Vequo stores your design library, version history, and image files primarily in the app's private storage on your device. After the server commits an in-app account deletion, Vequo clears the local design metadata and immediately attempts to delete all files in its managed private image storage, including when RevenueCat cleanup is still pending or requires manual review.
Deleting an individual design or image in Vequo also immediately attempts to delete each managed private image file that is not still used by another retained design. A remote server or email request cannot perform this on-device cleanup. Delete through the app first where possible, or clear Vequo's app data or uninstall it on the device, subject to device backups and operating-system behaviour.
After deletion
Vequo requires a pseudonymous guest account for online features. If you continue using the app after deletion, Vequo may create a new guest account that is separate from the deleted account.
